Facebook For Us Grown-Ups? Marketing Your Business on FaceBook!

By admin • May 31st, 2008 • Category: Marketing Online

If you are a parent you no doubt know all about Facebook - it was the school-aged only version of MySpace for most it’s young life - a haven for the kids because you could only get in if you had an email address from your school, which that snooping (translated: caring and concerned parents) were pretty much locked out.

But that has changed recently as Facebook has now morphed into a wide open Social Networking site for anyone and everyone, and unlike MySpace - FaceBook is VERY business friendly!

Ordinarily I am not big on social sites - my networking tends to be more at the biz related sites but Facebook has just launched a new Pay Per Click program that could be very promising since the prices (as of right now) are fairly inexpensive….but the demographics seem to be very limited and personally - I found the system more than a bit tough to get any good response on.

That being said…..my Facebook page has been getting a lot of quality invitations to events and groups, and I am definitely seeing some VERY good traffic from it.

Should you try it for your business? My attitude is that it is free, it only takes a few minutes to set-up, and what the heck is a few minutes a couple of times a week to get some traffic??

If you want to join me - sign up and then send me an invite to join your network and I will reciprocate!
You can find my profile by searching for Melody Wigdahl or pasting the following link in your browser:

Give it a try - whether you have a brick and mortar business or an online biz - there’s some great grown-up networking to be done on Facebook!
