Congratulations to Lori Brunet of
Rosendale, Wisconsin!

Lori is the recipient of the
Amber Grant of 2008 and is the owner of Brunet's Custom Signs which creates amazing personalized custom signs. Lori has been painting for a long time but stumbled into a business opportunity in 2003 when she painted a few signs for her sister to display in her store featuring different breeds of pigs and cattle. When others saw the signs, they had to have one and the business was born.
"Customers send me photos of their businesses, homes, cottages, and farms along with photos of their pets or prize livestock. I use the photos to create detailed hand painted wooden signs featuring their subject matter." says Lori.
“This is so incredible! I have been desperately trying to speed up production of the signs so that I can focus on my passion full time!”, says Brunet, “I want to be able to employ some of the women in the area who have lost their jobs due to the struggling economy."
Lori has been struggling to make the 60 mile commute to work, work a full 40 hours at her job and still keep her business afloat, hopefully with the help of the Amber Grant she can realize her dream of being self employed full time.
